The "Ishikari Fair" is an event held at Hokkaido Dosanko Plaza Sapporo at JR Sapporo Station to further raise awareness of the Ishikari region's food and tourism.
The main feature is a specialty-product market bringing together a wide range of delicious foods from Ishikari, alongside tourism information from the region.
Wine Will Be on Sale Too!
At the event, producers will take turns each day enthusiastically selling a varied selection of products.
On August 31, Hokkaido's tourism PR character Kyun-chan will also appear to promote the fair.
Around 100 specialty products from the Ishikari area are planned for sale. Hokkaido Chuo Budoshu Co., Ltd. is expected to offer wines including Kita Wine Kerner 2023 and Haskap Sweet Wine.
