The 8th Japan Winery Award® 2025 was held on Monday, June 9, 2025, and the winning wineries were announced.
The Special Judge Masahiro Takashima Award and the JAL Award were also announced at the same time.

About the 8th Japan Winery Award® 2025
The 8th Japan Winery Award® 2025 honors producers creating outstanding Japanese wines across the country.
Of 374 eligible wineries nationwide, 281 were recognized in the categories of Five-Star, Four-Star, Three-Star and Connoisseurs.
The “Special Judge Masahiro Takashima Award,” selected by 2025 special judge and actor Masahiro Takashima, was also announced, along with the “JAL Award,” introduced last year with the cooperation of Japan Airlines Co., Ltd.
At the end of the first part of the awards ceremony, the new organizational structure of the Japan Winery Award Council was also announced.
