Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture, is currently recruiting Local Vitalization Co-operators to work in private companies and other organizations with the aim of revitalizing the region and promoting local industries.
Among the positions, there is reportedly one that involves the promotion of wine made in Choshi.

About the Local Vitalization Co-operator program
In the Local Vitalization Co-operator program, members move their resident registration from urban areas, such as the three major metropolitan areas, to rural areas and engage in regional revitalisation activities.
In Choshi City, Local Vitalization Co-operators are active in a wide variety of fields, including hosting international exchange events, supporting the local railway Choshi Electric Railway, opening personal fitness gyms, and working as citizen writers.
The application deadline is Monday, November 13, 2023, and applications must arrive by 5:00 p.m.
After that, there will be an interview period and final result notifications, with activities scheduled to begin on or after April 1, 2024.
