From Friday, February 20, 2026, Achi Hirugami Tourism Bureau in Achi Village, Nagano Prefecture, known for Japan's best starry sky, will begin selling two new Goka apple wines: “CYGNUS” and “PEGASUS.”
The special wines are made with apples from the nature-rich Goka district of Achi Village, which overlooks the expansive Southern Alps.

About the Apple Wine
In Achi Village's Goka district, daytime sunshine raises temperatures while nights become cold.
This day-night temperature difference is said to produce high-quality apples packed with sweetness and honeyed character.
A local-specialty project began in 2024 to introduce these delicious apples to more people.
In July 2025, the first Goka apple wines made from the 2024 harvest went on sale: dry “ORION,” made from Fuji apples for the winter season, and sweet “VIRGO,” made from Shinano Sweet apples for spring.
Now two new medium-sweet wines, “CYGNUS” and “PEGASUS,” have joined the lineup.
About the New Products
“CYGNUS” has a clean style made with thinned Shinano Gold apples and features refreshing aromas reminiscent of herbs and orange.
“PEGASUS” makes use of the juicy fruit of Akibae apples and is highly aromatic, with crisp acidity and fruity fragrance.
The wines are named after constellations representing each season, and each bottle label depicts its corresponding constellation.
For the two new products, the first 100 purchasers of each bottle will also receive a constellation keychain made from thinned wood from Achi Village.
