Experience Japanese Craftsmanship with All Five Senses: CRASHIP PARK at Tokyo Midtown May 29–31

CRASHIP PARK will be held for three days, Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31, 2026, as part of MIDTOWN OPEN THE PARK 2026 on the lawn at Tokyo Midtown.

CRASHIP PARK is an event where visitors can experience Japanese craftsmanship across genres.

About CRASHIP PARK

CRASHIP PARK brings together cultures of clothing, food and living from around Japan across conventional categories, including tea, coffee, sake, wine, outstanding food, crafts and vintage items.

Around 100 carefully selected producers and retailers will gather again this year for this urban culture event.

It is a rare chance to encounter drinks and foods shaped by Japan’s four seasons and rich regional environments, take time to engage with their aromas and flavors, and find a personal favorite.

“Theater-Style Workshop” Area and Official Bar

A new theater-style workshop area will debut at CRASHIP PARK.

It will feature distinctive content combining talks by producers and specialists with hands-on experiences.

For example, a program on Friday, May 29 is titled “Ramen Journey & SLOW Dashi Bar — Is This Ramen, or a Dashi Experience?”

Chef Atsushi Nakahigashi will serve special ramen made with carefully selected ingredients from around Japan, while a DASHI Bar is also planned where visitors can taste soy sauce, miso, dashi and more.

An official bar will also appear for the first time.

Notable restaurants and shops will rotate daily, offering special tasting experiences.

Scheduled official-bar participants include:

  • Takasaki no Okan (sake)
  • VIRTUS (wine)
  • MIA MIA (coffee)
  • akao (tea and non-alcoholic drinks)

VIRTUS in particular is a wine shop with many fans among Japanese wine lovers.

It should be a good place to discover new wines.

Three Days to Experience the Appeal of Japanese Craftsmanship

The venue will also feature music from accomplished artists and DJs, along with a market of vintage items, crafts and goods that enrich everyday life.

Visitors can enjoy the event through one-of-a-kind encounters.

CRASHIP PARK runs from 13:00 to 20:00 on Friday, May 29, 2026, and from 12:00 to 19:00 on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st.

Admission and other tickets can be purchased online in advance.

It promises three days of memorable experiences with the appeal of Japanese craftsmanship.
