Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. is currently recruiting participants for a monitor tour exploring "Ashikaga, a Town Scented with Medieval History," to be held in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture, on Friday, January 27.
The tour also reportedly includes a winery visit to "Coco Farm & Winery."
Here are the details.
About the Tour
This monitor tour is organized by Tobu Top Tours Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the Ashikaga City Tourism Association and Ashikaga City, as part of the Japan Tourism Agency's "Project for Creating Profitable Flagship Products in Regions Utilizing Unique Regional Tourism Resources."
It is designed as a tour emphasizing hands-on experiential content that allows participants to fully enjoy the charms of Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture.
Also Includes a Winery Visit
Under the theme of "learning," this monitor tour takes participants around sites such as Japan's oldest school, the "Historic Site Ashikaga School," and the world-renowned floral paradise "Ashikaga Flower Park," accompanied by a guide with specialized knowledge.
In addition, a winery visit to "Coco Farm & Winery," which has been engaged in winemaking since 1984, along with a wine tasting experience, is also scheduled.
Furthermore, at the "Historic Site Ashikaga School," visitors will watch a video of the recitation of the Analects of Confucius by Yui Hori, the Ashikaga Kagayaki Ambassador.
At "Ashikaga Flower Park," a guided tour led by park staff—the first attempt of its kind—and a herbarium-making experience are planned.
Participation Is Free!
Because this monitor tour exploring "Ashikaga, a Town Scented with Medieval History" is a demonstration project, participation is free of charge.
The capacity is 15 participants (on a first-come, first-served basis).
Why not experience the charms of Ashikaga as a monitor participant alongside wine?
