Among the items featured are craft products that also involve Japanese wine.
Let us take a closer look at the details.
About "CoCo JAPAN"
"CoCo JAPAN" is an industry support project promoted by Mori Trust Co., Ltd. that unearths fine products from across Japan and communicates their appeal both domestically and internationally.
It supports local governments and businesses through 4 industry support functions: "Discovery," "Nurturing," "Promoting Exchange," and "Communication."
Over the past 1 year, it has collaborated with 10 companies and organizations, exhibiting and selling 185 fine items at TOKYO WORLD GATE CoCo Lounge.
In addition, it continues to actively operate by hosting workshops where visitors can experience Japanese culture and bar events where visitors can try drinking vessels made with traditional crafts.
About the 1st anniversary event
The upcoming 1st anniversary event was planned by the project to express its daily gratitude.
In addition to product displays, 5 projects have been prepared allowing visitors to actually use and experience fine items unearthed from all over Japan.
In addition to a "CoCo JAPAN Gacha" where you can win various Japanese specialty goods, and a mini-concert featuring a viola crafted by artisans in Kami Town, Miyagi Prefecture, there will also be an original diffuser-making activity using grape vines from Akiu Winery in Miyagi Prefecture, which is familiar to Japanese wine fans.
Furthermore, there is an experience with a mysterious stirrer made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture—famous for its metalworking techniques—treated with a special water treatment technology that changes the taste.
Why not visit and experience the allure of Japanese crafts for yourself?
