A digital free pass offering unlimited train and bus rides will be on sale for the period from October 28 to 29.
It is reportedly a free pass that includes wine tasting tickets, allowing visitors to tour along the Shinano Railway Line.
Here are the details.
About "Chikumagawa Go-Round"
The "Chikumagawa Go-Round" digital free pass is a platform utilizing an official LINE account that allows bundled sales of regional event participation tickets.
By utilizing "Chikumagawa Go-Round," it is hoped to help address railway company challenges—such as declining revenue caused by depopulation along the rail lines and securing revenue sources other than commuter passes—while encouraging tourists and local residents to use public transportation and tour the area.
The first event utilizing the "Chikumagawa Go-Round" digital free pass will be "Chikumagawa Wine-Go-Round" (held from Saturday, October 28 to Sunday, October 29).
The "Chikumagawa Wine-Go-Round Free Pass," which pairs wine tickets with a digital free pass for unlimited rides on designated sections of the Shinano Railway, will be released.
Tour around while enjoying wine!
In this project, while touring around with the free pass, you can visit temporary stalls set up in front of stations by wineries in the Eastern District of Nagano Prefecture's Chikuma River Wine Valley, enjoying wine and juice.
The price is 3,000 yen including 3 wine tickets, and each wine ticket can be exchanged at each venue for 1 wine glass, 1 glass of wine, or 1 glass of juice.
Please check below for details.
