About the Hokkaido Local Cheese Expo 2025
The Hokkaido Local Cheese Expo 2025 is an event organized by the Hokuren Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives to share the appeal of Hokkaido-made cheese and ways to enjoy it.
At Omotesando Hills Space O, the event will run for six days: the first half from Friday, February 7 to Sunday, February 9, 2025, and the second half from Monday, February 10 to Wednesday, February 12.
First held in 2019, the 2025 edition marks the event's seventh year.
Visitors will be able to discover roughly 300 Hokkaido cheeses from 50 producers, making it one of Tokyo's largest events dedicated to regional cheese.

The communication theme for Hokkaido Local Cheese Expo 2025 is "Experience the real Hokkaido, kingdom of local cheese!"
A wide range of content will let visitors experience the appeal and depth of Hokkaido food culture without traveling there, including the hugely popular annual "Select 5" tasting, where guests choose five favorites from 50 Hokkaido cheeses, and opportunities to meet cheese makers.
The venue will also feature selections of rare Hokkaido wines and sake—a welcome addition for Japanese wine fans—as well as special dishes available only at the event.
Ahead of the expo, the "Hokkaido Cheese Circuit," a collaboration with nearby restaurants and other venues, will begin on Tuesday, January 28.
