“Bar Matsushima” will be held for the first time at Matsushima Rikyu in Miyagi Prefecture on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29.
The event is being launched as a new opportunity to showcase the appeal of wines from across the Tohoku region.

About “Bar Matsushima”
“Bar Matsushima” is organized by Miyagi Prefecture's Matsushima Rikyu and the executive committee behind the City of Trees Wine Festival “Bar Sendai,” with support from Matsushima Town and the Matsushima Tourism Association.
Wineries from across Tohoku will participate, giving visitors the opportunity to discover their appeal through direct conversation. Against the backdrop of Matsushima's sea and islands, guests can enjoy pairings with seafood skewers including oysters and “JAPAN X,” a branded pork from Zao Town.

The wineries scheduled to appear at Bar Matsushima are:

• Chateau Kiri (Kurihara, Miyagi)
• Yamamoto Winery (Watari, Miyagi)
• Minamisanriku Winery (Minamisanriku, Miyagi)
• Fukushima Farmers' Dream Wine (Nihonmatsu, Fukushima)
