The Art Farm LLC has launched a project to create a third place called “ART FARM IKEJIRI” on the rooftop of HOME/WORK VILLAGE, which opened on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
The project is recruiting creative members through crowdfunding platform MotionGallery and aims for a grand opening in July.

How ART FARM IKEJIRI Came About
ART FARM IKEJIRI is envisioned as a third place in Tokyo where people and nature connect, created together with a community of creative members.
Through reporting on community farms in various cities, the organizers came to believe that incorporating an agricultural lifestyle into urban living can have very positive effects on both mind and body. With the goal of creating “Tokyo’s most pleasant third place” together with creative members, they launched crowdfunding to recruit founding members and raise funds.
A Vineyard for Wine Grapes Is Also Planned
The planned elements of ART FARM IKEJIRI include:

The VINEYARD will grow wine-grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, with plans to collaborate with a winery outside central Tokyo to make wine.
The space will also be available for talk events and small gatherings.
