SUNTORY FROM FARM to Release Six New Vintages and Two New Wines Made with 100% Nagano Grapes on September 9

Suntory’s Japanese wine brand “SUNTORY FROM FARM” will release six new vintages, including “SUNTORY FROM FARM Iwadarehara Merlot 2021,” and two new products, including “Shinshu Matsumoto Aromatic Assemblage Blanc 2024,” nationwide in limited quantities from Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

Here are the details.

Six New Vintages

The following new vintages from SUNTORY FROM FARM are made with 100% grapes grown in Nagano Prefecture.

★ “SUNTORY FROM FARM Iwadarehara Merlot 2021”

A complex bouquet combines fruit aromas reminiscent of dark cherries with nuances of vanilla and clove. On the palate, it offers generous fruit, acidity and tannins.

★ “Shiojiri Merlot 2022”

Aromas of ripe plum and violet are joined by a supple sense of fruit. The palate is smooth and well integrated.

★ “Shiojiri Muscat Bailey A 2022”

Sweet fruit aromas reminiscent of strawberry jam are accompanied by earthy, root-vegetable-like notes. The wine features calm fruit expression, smooth acidity and fine tannins on the palate.

★ “Shiojiri Merlot Rosé 2024”

Sweet aromas recalling cherry and pomegranate jam rise alongside refreshing citrus notes. This rosé offers a pleasant balance of lively acidity and the soft fruit character typical of Merlot.

★ “Takayama Village Chardonnay 2024”

The wine has a complex, generous aroma in which apple- and pear-like fruit notes harmonize with toasty oak nuances, along with a rounded palate balancing fruit and acidity.

The package uses line art to express both the vineyards of Takayama Village, with their differences in elevation, and the wine’s layered character.

★ “Shinshu Symphony 2024”

This wine uses grapes from four areas of Shinshu—Takayama Village, the Azusagawa district of Matsumoto City, Shiojiri City and Tateshina Town. By bringing out the character of each vineyard and variety while harmonizing them, it delivers a multilayered aroma and flavor profile.

Its package combines illustrations of Shinshu trees with motifs inspired by piano keys and a xylophone to express the product’s aim of creating a “multilayered harmony of Shinshu wine.”

Two New Products

Two entirely new wines will also be introduced.

★ “SUNTORY FROM FARM Shinshu Matsumoto Aromatic Assemblage Blanc 2024”

Several base wines made from grapes grown in the Azusagawa district of Matsumoto City are assembled together.

The wine features rich, layered aromas reminiscent of green apple, white peach and citrus, together with clear, transparent acidity.

The package uses a green-based, paint-palette-like design to express the vineyard landscape and the wine’s character.

★ “Shinshu Matsumoto Aromatic Assemblage Rosé 2024”

Several grape base wines, centered on Merlot grown in the Azusagawa district of Matsumoto City, are assembled to create a rosé with fresh fruit aromas recalling red berries and citrus and a generous palate.

The package uses a pink-based, paint-palette-like design to express the vineyard landscape and the wine’s character.

New flavors are arriving from Nagano Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading wine-grape regions.
