Tomi City in Nagano Prefecture launched a proposal-based customized gift service, “Made Just for You: Tomi City Concierge,” in July 2025 for people making hometown-tax donations of ¥500,000 or more.
The service can include wines from Tomi City among its customized gift proposals.

About “Made Just for You: Tomi City Concierge”
“Made Just for You: Tomi City Concierge” is a new service intended to bring donors emotionally closer to the city and communicate the value and appeal of the region in greater depth.
Rather than simply providing “things,” it is described as an experiential form of hometown-tax giving in which the city “engages with each donor individually and selects the region’s attractions together with them.”
Tomi City Wine Is Included, Too
Tomi City Concierge is a proposal-based customized gift service in which dedicated staff suggest rewards tailored to each donor’s tastes, interests and lifestyle.
The dedicated staff are city employees with more than 10 years of experience managing hometown-tax donations. Through interviews, they create made-to-order combinations selected from Tomi City’s nature, food and culture to suit each donor.
Two courses are available: ¥300,000 and ¥500,000.
Examples of possible proposals include:
★ Makisha Minemura: 600 g yakiniku set
★ Norarabo Farm: 1 kg spring thick asparagus (L–2L size)
★ Yaehara Ham: Shinshu Olein Pork tasting set of three prosciutto cuts (marbled, loin and lean)
★ Sasaya Farm: Three-delivery subscription of 6 kg Yaehara rice (2 kg × 3 bags), polished rice
★ JA Shinshu Ueda Tobu Agricultural Center: Two extra-large bunches of Queen Rouge® grapes
★ Mimaki Yaehara Farm: Gold Award winner at the Vegetable Sommelier Summit — approximately 4 kg of Tomi-grown Gold Rush sweet corn (8–12 ears)
★ 496 Winery: Frost-Damage Support — tasting comparison of three Michelin-selected Sauvignon Blanc white wines
★ Tsuchiya Farm: Direct from the grower — 2 kg Shine Muscat grapes (3–5 bunches)
★ Mankaen: Set of two Kyoho grape juices and two Kyoho grape jams
★ Yuu Farm: 1 kg Shinano walnuts in shell (Seika 500 g + Toko 500 g)
★ Atelier de Fromage: Five-cheese assortment (Camembert, Camemblue, hard cheese, blue cheese and mozzarella)
★ JA Shinshu Ueda Tobu Agricultural Center: Winter-harvest Shine Muscat, 3 kg (5–6 bunches)
★ Okashidokoro Hanaoka: Set of 14 lemon cakes
★ Toyahara Farm: Whole Shinshu Ogon Shamo chicken set
★ Community Cafe Maruya: Six-delivery subscription of authentic rye bread
★ Agronome: Four-delivery subscription of seasonal vegetables and processed foods (for 2–3 people)
