Four new items from Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd.'s flagship "Tsurunuma Series" will be available nationwide starting Sunday, August 25.
Here are the details.
About the "Tsurunuma Series"
The "Tsurunuma Series" is the company's premium wine series, made from grapes carefully cultivated at "Tsurunuma Winery," a directly managed vineyard of Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd. located in Urausu Town, Hokkaido. The wines are vinified under strict quality standards at the head office winery in Otaru City and released after an appropriate aging period prior to shipping.
Now, four new items have been introduced from this series.
These are wines most worthy of attention right now, presented by a historic winery with over 50 years of heritage.
About the Four New Items
Here are the four new items from the "Tsurunuma Series" being released:
・"Tsurunuma Harvest Special Cuvée Pinot Blanc 2021"
・"Tsurunuma Oak Barrel Fermented Pinot Blanc 2022"
・"Tsurunuma Harvest Special Cuvée Pinot Gris Orange 2021"
・"Tsurunuma Pinot Gris Orange 2023"
Among them, "Tsurunuma Harvest Special Cuvée Pinot Blanc 2021" is a dry white wine crafted from the Pinot Blanc grape and aged for 11 months in French oak barrels.
It is said to be finished as a bottle featuring aromas of fruit and honey-like notes from aging, along with oak-derived vanilla and gentle coconut nuances spreading on the palate.
All are certified GI Hokkaido wines.
Be sure to check out these four bottles, a must-see for Japanese wine fans.
