JR East View Tourism & Sales has launched a travel product aboard a Series 211 train where passengers can enjoy wine and food from along the Ryomo Line.
The train will also serve freshly made wine that can only be enjoyed at this time of year.
Here are the details.
About “Terroir 211 — Ryomo Wine and Food Journey”
“Terroir 211 — Ryomo Wine and Food Journey” is a travel product aboard a Series 211 train featuring wine and food from along the Ryomo Line.
Passengers travel from Kumagaya Station to Ashikaga Station on a Series 211 train normally used on the Ryomo Line and other routes, enjoying a special rail journey different from everyday travel while taking in the scenery from the windows.
Onboard foods include croissant sandwiches made with ham from Gunma Prefecture, NUTS FACTORY nuts, smoked cheese, Ashikaga Marc beef roast beef, and other specialties from Maebashi, Isesaki, Kiryu, and Ashikaga.
Plenty of Wine Too!
The tour is scheduled to serve red and white wines from ISHIWATA VINEYARD, along with Coco Farm & Winery’s Awa Coco pétillant and fresh new wine, plus Noumin Rosso red and Noumin Dry white.
A key feature of the tour is the broad selection, rather than just a single wine.
Consider taking this luxurious rail journey.
