Here are the details.
About the “Itsukaichi Line 100th Anniversary Celebration Wine”
The wine was planned under the “C-Legend” project by JR East’s Hachioji Branch, JR Chuo Line Community Design Co., Ltd. and JR East Commercial Development Co., Ltd., with the aim of energizing communities along the Itsukaichi Line as it celebrates its 100th anniversary on April 21, 2025.
It was vinified at Vineyard Tama, located near Musashi-Masuko Station.
What’s Inside
The wine is a blend of Koshu grapes from Akiruno, Tokyo and Kofu, Yamanashi.
It is a clean, refreshing white with aromas of pear, citrus and vanilla, along with a subtle bitterness.
The wine was made together with participants in the “Itsukaichi Line 100th Anniversary Celebration Wine Winemaking Experience” held in October 2024, and is being sold with an original commemorative label.
