Suntory's Japanese wine brand “SUNTORY FROM FARM” is introducing a new product, “SUNTORY FROM FARM Yui no Ka Terroir Ensemble.”
It will go on sale nationwide in limited quantities from Tuesday, September 8.
About the Wine
“SUNTORY FROM FARM Yui no Ka Terroir Ensemble” is an assemblage that brings together concentrated, smooth Merlot base wine from Shinshu Shiojiri Winery; Muscat Bailey A aged in Mizunara oak; and Petit Verdot from Tomi no Oka Winery, noted for its elegance and strength.
The wine is also said to pair well with Japanese cuisine seasoned with fermented condiments such as miso and soy sauce.
About the Package
The package takes inspiration from kumihimo, the traditional Japanese craft of intricately braided cords, expressing a layered and supple flavor in which distinct characters resonate with one another.
The name combines “Yui,” conveying the idea of connecting the two wineries, and “Ka,” representing the aromatic character of the Mizunara-aged Muscat Bailey A that helps bring harmony to the blend.
If this sounds interesting, be sure to check it out.
