About the New Product and New Vintages
This time, 1 new product and 1 type of new vintage are being released.
The new product, "SUNTORY FROM FARM Shiojiri Merlot & Muscat Bailey A Wa no Tsumugi", was vinified at Suntory Shiojiri winery using grapes grown in Shiojiri, where a cool climate, diurnal temperature variation, and well-drained soil allow for the cultivation of concentrated grapes.
By "spinning together" (tsumugu) Merlot, a European variety whose quality the company has worked to improve alongside local growers, with Muscat Bailey A, an indigenous Japanese variety, this bottle achieves a multi-layered aroma and a smooth, refined taste brimming with fruitiness.

★ "SUNTORY FROM FARM Tomi no Oka Koshu 2022"
In addition to a rich fruitiness reminiscent of apple compote and candied mandarin oranges, aromas of Japanese citrus characteristic of the indigenous Japanese grape variety "Koshu" can be perceived. On the palate, this dry white wine features the pleasant bitterness characteristic of "Koshu" along with smooth acidity.
★ "SUNTORY FROM FARM Iwadarehara Merlot 2020"
Aromas evocative of black fruits such as black cherries and their compotes, a smooth texture, and an appealing fruitiness that combines calm and power can be perceived. A fine-grained, elegant finish is also a feature.
★ "SUNTORY FROM FARM Shiojiri Merlot 2020"
It is characterized by aromas reminiscent of red fruits such as ripe plums and cherries, along with toasty aromas derived from the barrels used for aging. It offers a gentle, mellow, and sweet mouthfeel with a smooth, well-integrated flavor.
★ "SUNTORY FROM FARM Shiojiri Merlot Rosé 2023"
It features fruity aromas reminiscent of pink grapefruit and strawberries, along with gentleness and hints of spice. It is finished as a dry wine with a well-balanced combination of fruitiness, supple acidity, and pleasant bitterness.
